How Deceased Twin Flames Communicate: Recognizing Signs from the Spirit Realm

Five ways an earthbound twin may recognize communication across realms

In this article, I refer to the twin in spirit as “he” and “him” for consistency and because this reflects my own experience. However, gender in and of itself is not relevant to the nature of the twin flame connection or to the ways in which twins communicate across realms.

Amidst the grief that immediately follows the passing of a twin flame, there is an inherent, instinctual pull toward the spiritual places where our beloved now resides.  We have a pressing need, an urgency to communicate with them. We may look for signs everywhere in the most mundane places and in the most routine circumstances.  It can take up a significant part of our waking hours and even hinder our sleep as we pray and hope for a dream in which they will appear with a message. Why does grieving the death of a twin flame feel so unlike mourning others we have loved? Because they are us and we are them.  We share the same soul and to perceive that we are in separation from their physical body is to fall into a desolate pit of isolation and purposelessness. Our physical selves cannot yet reconcile the reality that the physical separation does not sever the soul. This same principle applies equally to twin flames who are not separated by death and who are both still living in the 3D plane. When one twin passes, however, the connection remains  alive and thriving; our minds have not yet caught up with what our souls already know.  Indeed, I argue that the connection is even more attuned and aligned and communication is much more readily accessible when each twin occupies a different sphere.

Rest assured that communication does happen. It just doesn’t happen the way we think it will.  That is because communication from our twins is no longer filtered through earthly, mundane distractions or the ego which can interfere and even skew how such communications are received in the 3D. First, there is an awakening that happens in the soul of our deceased twin. Your twin, now free of earthly “baggage”, ego-centered concerns, and physical limitations that distracted him whilst on earth, sees everything from a soul level and that includes you. From the soul’s perspective, he can now behold the whole tapestry of an existence he once experienced only thread by thread; his physical limitations, his earthly karmas, the choices he made through the exercise of his own free will, and the greater purpose each served within his soul’s journey now give his soul a perspective that is unobstructed and clear. He remembers the twin flame soul contract your souls made prior to incarnation and he sees quite clearly its purpose and how the journey has unfolded the way it was meant to. He is in a most favorable position to work these truths into your heart and you will receive them in a variety of ways:

Automatic Writing or Psychography

You may feel the compulsion to write something that you are not consciously thinking about. Often these words come in the form of rapid flowing sentences most of which may not have any logical coherence and yet they carry truth and validity.  You may sense that you are channeling your twin as he may rapidly fire off many ideas and messages at once.  

Animal Spirits

You may encounter unexpected or repeated appearances of a particular animal. Seeing an animal once or even twice may not raise one’s attention, but to the twin flame that is still earthbound, these repeated encounters either physically in their midst or vividly within their consciousness is a form of communication. Seeing the same animal whether in its literal physical form or as an image, an illustration, a written passage, a dream or in any other synchronistic form, signifies something personal that extends far beyond an ordinary encounter.

Music and Multi Media

When Steve crossed over, one of his preferred methods of communication was to randomly play old music from the 1970s.  Not surprising since we met as children in 1975.  However, it was the way in which these songs appeared.  First, he did not choose any of the Top 50 hits of our generation. No. He made sure to play one hit wonders and these songs were played in very uncharacteristic places.  Venues and public places where normally hip hop, rap, or today’s pop songs would be broadcast over a PA system.  I admit that when this occurred, and it happened a lot, I did get goosebumps until I understood that it was Steve using a medium he knew I would mostly likely pay greater mind to. Additionally, a particular scene in a movie, an image, a story line, or line of dialogue may contain a message that we may dismiss or overlook, but that our twin will use to capture our attention and awaken us to its deeper meaning. 

Feathers

This is indeed the most common marker for anyone who has passed on.  No one will doubt the significance a single feather brings when it crosses our path.  In the case of twins, however, the arrival of feathers will be distinctive. It is not that the feathers appear as much as how and when they appear. There is a difference between finding a feather on your walk from the grocery store to your car in the parking lot (which I am not minimizing) and the circumstances in which that feather appears.  For example, you may have a question or a concern that is plaguing you and the answers are not forthcoming because you are overthinking. A feather may land on your shoe or on the hood of your car just as you were contemplating a matter of issue.  The color of a feather or the kind of bird is equally important. 

Hearing a Familiar Voice

Some twins describe hearing the familiar voice of their twin internally. These may be realized as gentle guidance, an intuitive knowing, or a message that arrives with a powerful urgency. For twin flames this may be understood as another form of communication. Sometimes it may feel like gentle prodding that one might label intuition. Yes, it is intuition. You and your twin are one, and it may feel entirely natural that he would speak through that shared connection.

At other times, you may perceive your twin’s own voice within your thoughts with a clarity that is uncanny. This may occur when you believe your twin needs you to receive a strong message but doubt is preventing you from recognizing it. Other times, you may hear your twin’s voice in a more lighthearted context and don’t be surprised if you sense him laughing at you when you’ve done something silly. 

As with all spiritual experiences, however, discernment remains essential. Any voice that is frightening, threatening, commanding, or disruptive to daily life should not simply be assumed to originate from one’s twin, and appropriate professional support should be sought.

This is not an exhaustive list of signs and certainly not everyone will all receive the same signs. Each twin flame journey is as unique as a fingerprint, and so too is the language of communication that develops between twins across realms. A sign that carries profound meaning for one twin may hold no significance for another. The invitation, therefore, is not to compare our experiences, but to remain attentive to the patterns, repetitions, and moments of recognition that speak directly to our own soul. In time, what may initially appear to be coincidence can become part of an intimate and unmistakable language through which the connection continues to reveal itself.
