About Sherry and Steve

Sherry Martinelli is a nonfiction author, educator, and lifelong student of the human experience. Her writing explores the intersections of psychology, spirituality, grief, consciousness, and the enduring mysteries of human connection.

Steven D. Bennett is the co-author and spiritual heart of A Song for Steve: The Lion and the Rose. Their bond began in youth and continued through love, separation, loss, and what Sherry experiences as an enduring connection beyond physical death.

Much of what Steve conveys to Sherry comes through channeled messages from him in spirit—communications that form an essential part of the book and its exploration of continuing bonds. His notes, ideas, written fragments, and ongoing spiritual guidance continue to inform Sherry’s current and future work.

Sherry understands their creative partnership as an ongoing act of co-creation: Steve contributing from spirit and Sherry, earthbound, giving their shared vision its written form.
